A pregnant woman should be in every way responsible for her baby and she much make sure the delivery is as smooth as possible. And in order to do that she has to abide by certain rules and regulation prescribed by doctors and physicians alike. Some of the tips that pregnant women follow pertaining to her diet are as follows;
- Avoid eating if you feel full. Don’t force yourself with food, it can be counter productive.
- Avoid diet sodas or any sodas for that matter. These sodas have high calorie content and will not help your cause at all if you are looking to lose excess weight.
- Always follow the old saying which said, “eat to live, and not live to eat”.
- Avoid junk food, fast food or any other of its kind. These foods taste good but are very low on nutrient content and can cause serious body hazards.
- Eat foods that have high nutrient value, fresh fruits and vegetables are the best options. Balanced diet is the key.
- Drink adequate amount of water in the course of whole day.
- Eat healthy breakfast containing high amount of protein – breakfast is the most important and essential meal and must be consumed fully.
- Avoid drinking much liquid while you are having a meal – it hampers the process of digestion on a major way.
The pregnancy can be divided into different phases and hence it should be remembered that the proper care should be taken during all the phases of the pregnancy period. The phases of pregnancy or the pregnancy period can be divided into three main parts and they are as follows : -
First Trimester
Second Trimester
Third Trimester
The third phase or the Third Trimester is the phase where the baby grows inside the womb completely and the mother has to take care of her diet and the amount of calorie that she consumes. This is a phase where the mother has to concentrate on proper nutritional food and completely avoid the fast food or the junk foods. During this phase the body requires a lot of protein and calories and that is provided by the sufficient intake of ghee and butter. This phase is most delicate and vulnerable and hence you, if you are a pregnant mother, should look to take utmost care of your won self. Look to eat in small quantity but consume a lot of proteins and minerals. Fresh fruits and vegetables can actually serve the purpose in a major way.
