Thus for pregnant women it is important to remember that excess weight should be tackled and two ways to do the same is by regular exercise and maintaining a proper and healthy diet. The pregnancy can be divided into different phases and hence it should be remembered that the proper care should be taken during all the phases of the pregnancy period. The phases of pregnancy or the pregnancy period can be divided into three main parts and they are as follows;
First Trimester
Second Trimester
Third Trimester
The Second Trimester is the second phase of the pregnancy period which, like the previous one, is important too. This is an essential phase as far as the nutritional perspective is concerned. During this phase the body requires a lot of protein and calories and that is provided by the sufficient intake of ghee and butter. Second Trimester is characterized by the growth phase of the baby which is the important development during this period. Avoid junk foods and stick to lot of fresh fruits and green vegetables as much as possible.
